On day 30 of quarantine, I decided I needed a project. To keep me sane? To bring back my sanity? It's hard to tell. I needed something to take my brain from the freeform spin it was in and order it into the state needed to make art. I needed someone else's words to help jumpstart my own creative process.

In a fit of spring cleaning I put together a stack of books that I am going to donate when we're all allowed back out into the world. Before they go to Goodwill and friends' bookshelves, I'm going to use them to order my thinking. Each day, a line from the 30th page of a new book will serve as the starting point for my own writing.
